I used to teach this stuff at Law School and I have a large research archive (which is still maintained) and upon which I drew. The theme of narrative control (means and content) was a different slant that I wanted to explore and share.
Thanks for the very detailed analysis Mr Hobbit. As per other comments here, it is indeed quite a complex challenge. Who decides what is ‘reasonable’ moderation? What agenda do those with oversight have? (eg Internet NZ & its new ‘Treaty-led’ Constitution…). Clearly there can never be a perfect balance, only varying shades of grey.
