Timely and informative thank you Sir Hobbit. The many long-term TDS sufferers fail to weigh Trump's actions accurately. US hegemony is under significant threat and I suppose one might eventually tire from providing world stability against great evil, assuring peace for Europe and the wider West, and yet constantly being lambasted by those who do not understand history nor the realities of geopolitics. To borrow from 'A Few Good Men': "We want Trump on that wall, we need Trump on that wall"...

Re-asserting Monroe is understandable. Successive weak western leaders have emasculated our nations and the threat to our way of life is clear & present. I'd prefer to have chosen a better vessel than Trump, but seems he is all we have, and damn if he ain't needed right now.

Thank you for a clear and detailed explanation of this.

Thank you Judge Harvey. Very informative and useful to think about in the light of Trump's pivot to the Western Hemisphere. When will the grab for Greenland be balanced by a grab for Antarctica?

Updating the Monroe doctrine involves, first, examining the difference between what it meant in 1825, to say, "Russia, the United States, China," etc., and what it means now.

Central banking has homogenised the affairs of nations, and blurred boundaries.

qu.1) So, to what degree is the naming of nations now nothing but a red herring?

qu.2) Who, now, is the real paymaster of the military forces and the secret armies of the Western world?

qu.3) Which of those secret armies is by far the biggest narco-terrorist in history?

Whose chest-thumping about international crime is nothing but cover for suppressing competition.

The answer to this quiz question is contained in the article. It starts with C and ends with A.

Don't answer qu.2 out loud. It will catapault your name up the list of surveillance targets.

Answering qu.1 in company will spoil most conversations, since most people think Trump is a powerful man, whereas, in fact, they themselves have more autonomy than he does.

Heard of Chess Mr Trump?US officials to-date certainly have been out-manoeuvred then by Chinese mass population influx over the years into Canada on the US northern border. Can’t get much closer Mr Trump unless somehow Chinese also happen to be flooding into American states somehow.
